Suzlon Energy Limited announced an agreement between AGL Energy Limited (Australian gas and electricity supply company) and Suzlon's Australian branch, Suzlon Energy Australia Pty Ltd., for delivery of 54 S88 units (unit = 2.1 MW wind turbine generator), which total about 113 MW of installed capacity. The delivery will give Australia a new wind power resource in 2009. AGL is developing a pipeline of projects in Australia, and this is a part of it.
