RES has now officialy built (installed) more than 4 GW of wind power worldwide. The company has just yesterday commissioned their latest wind power project – Pays de St Seine in France with 50 MW capacity – which adds to the overall total of installed wind power making it 4037 MW officially.
The Pays de St Seine wind farm, a project developed by EOLE-RES, the French subsidiary of RES Group, consists of 25 Vestas V90 2 MW wind turbines. The electricity generated by this wind farm will be enough for about 48,000 people. EOLE-RES has already developed some 300 MW of wind energy in France, and is currently developing several hundred megawatts of wind power in the Mediterranean region.
