REpower to supply 21 wind turbines to Valorem for wind farm in France

REpower Systems has signed an agreement with Valorem, a French wind farm developer, for the supply of 21 MM92 wind turbine, each rated with 2.05 MW of power capacity, and a hub height of 80 meters. The wind turbines are to be supplied and erected at five wind farms in France in the Vendée and Loire Atlantique regions in the western part of France. The wind farms are expected to be built between March and June 2010.

The five wind farms are the Saint Michel Chef Chef, La Marne, La Limouzinière, La Planche and Saint Philbert, all of which are going to be executed by REpower SAS, the company's French subsidiary based in Paris. This is the first time REpower is supplying Valorem with wind turbines, and the company is very satisfied Valorem chose REpower for these projects, with hopes of collaboration on future projects.
