enXco (part of EDF Energies Nouvelles) announced it has closed a financing deal with Joint Bookrunners/Lead Arrangers Dexia, Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen (Helaba), and Union Bank for the Hoosier wind farm.

Hoosier wind farm is a 106 MW wind energy project located in Benton County, Indiana, consisting of 53 REpower MM92 wind turbines. Construction began last April, with a commercial operation planned for Q4 2009. Generated electricty will be purchased by Indianapolis Power & Light for the next 20 year through a power purchase agreement. enXco Service Corporation will operate, maintain and service the Hoosier wind farm.
