We've already talked about Suntech and Huadian and their plans to jointly develop 500 MW of solar projects. That started happening and now we have the two companies announcing a 10MW solar power plant in Dongtai, Jiangsu Province, China. Suntech, which holds a minority share of the project, will supply its solar modules and design and manage the installation of the plant.
The new Dongtai solar plant is targeted to be completed by the end this year, boasting more than 37,000 Suntech solar panels and displacing approximately 15,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year, as a result.
