Green Star Alternative Energy (GSAE) has installed a wind measurement tower just outside of Ram, a small town near Veliko Gradište, in northeast Serbia. The location could be home to a 50 MW wind farm, if studies and measurements confirm the estimated wind energy potential of that area.

The terrain has been carefully analyzed and after months of preparation, and obtaining proper licenses, the tower has finally been erected. The measurement tower will collect data on wind speed and other wind flow parameters, which will be necessary for GSAE to perform the design, engineering and optimization of the locations wind energy potential.

The Municipality of Veliko Gradište, where the wind farm is going to be developed, has alotted about 200 hectares of land for the project.
