According to an article in Reuters, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries seems to be planning a wind turbine manufacturing plant in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The investment involved in this project is about USD 100 million.

MHI officials will be making a final investment decision after seeing if the demand rises, which is expected sometime in the second half of the financial year 2010.
