Acciona announced an investment of EUR 85 million in a 45 MW wind farm in Lamèque, province of New Brunswick, Canada. The project will feature thirty 1.5 MW wind turbines using Acciona's Windpower technology. Completion is expected in early 2011, and will be 100% owned by Acciona.

All power produced at the new wind farm will be sold to New Brunswick Power, a local power utility, under a 25-year power purchase agreement.
