Iberdrola Renovables has begun construction of the Sierra de las Cabras wind farm, near Jumilla, Spain. The wind farm is to have 22 MW of installed capacity, featuring 11 Gamesa G97 2 MW units.

The company is planning to invest EUR 22 million on commissioning the new wind farm, through Energías Renovables de la Región de Murcia, in which Iberdrola has 100% ownership.
