Vestas received an order for 30 MW of wind turbines from TuuliWatti Oy, a Finnish wind energy developer. This is the third order from this customer within the past 12 months. This time, Vestas is to deliver 10 units, which are to be installed at the Tervola wind farm.

Tervola wind farm is located in Lapland, at the very north of Finland. Delivery of the V112-3.0 MW units is to begin in September this year, while completion of installation has been set for March 2013. Vestas is to also provide full scope active output management of the installed units for six years, as part of its AOM 4000 offer. Optionally, this part of the contract can be extended for another six years.
