China Ming Yang Wind Power announced the company super compact drive (SCD) MY-3.0 MW wind turbine has received LVRT certification, after having passed low voltage ride through performance tests.

This means Ming Yang can now use the unit freely in grid connected projects. The certificate, issued by the China Electric Power Research Institute, guarantees the MY-3.0 MW unit is able to react properly to the sudden fluctuations in grid voltage, without having to disconnect from the power grid. Ming Yang is putting high hopes in the company's top class product, expecting a significant improvement in the company's market position.
