RWE building 39 MW wind farm in Poland

RWE announced the company will be building a 39 MW wind energy project in Poland in Nowy Staw, near Gdansk. A total of 19 turbines will be installed at the new wind farm.

REpower will supply the MM92 2.05 MW units for this project. Nowy Staw wind farm will be the largest project implemented by REpower in Poland so far. RWE Innogy will be involved in local infrastructure work around the wind farm.

RWE Innogy currently operates three wind farms in Poland, totalling in about 108 MW of installed capacity. The three wind farms are Suwalki, Tychowo and Piecki.
