
Kyocera Solar has begun shipping PV solar modules for a 127 MW utility scale project in southwestern Arizona. Kyocera will be supplying a total of 34 MW of solar modules, all of which are to be made in the company's US production facility, in San Diego.
The Arlington Valley Solar Energy II project is scheduled to enter commercial operation in 2013, in Arizona's Maricopa County. With a total of 127 MW of installed capacity, this will be one of the largest PV installations in the US.
