Enel Green Power announced the start of operations at the company's first wind energy project in Mexico. The 74 MW Bii Nee Stipa II wind farm will produced about 250 GWh of electrical energy annually, with a load factor of about 40 percent.

Bii Nee Stipa II represents a USD 160 million investment. The wind turbines installed at the wind farm were supplied by Gamesa, each with 2 MW of rated capacity.
