Vestas recently signed an agreement for a total of 24 MW of wind capacity with Bord Gáis, Ireland. Twelve V90-2.0 MW units are to be installed at the Lisheen wind farm, as en extension to the already existing wind capacity (18 V90-2.0 MW wind turbines).

The new turbines are to be delivered in Q1 2013. The project is an EPC contract, meaning Vestas will provide a turnkey service, collaborating with Balfour Beatty Ireland Ltd, as the main contractor.
